2025 Jeep Gladiator, pick up truck

The Jeep has a long and storied history of toughness and reliability, and the 2025 Jeep Gladiator more than delivers. We’re going to dive into some of the rugged highlights that make the Gladiator the vehicle you want for true off-roading pleasure.

Certified Trail Rated

The 2025 Gladiator is Trail Rated. This isn’t just a classification; it’s proof that the Gladiator has faced and passed an intensely grueling series of tests against the best the great outdoors could throw at it. These tests include the ability to ford water up to 31.5″ deep due to its watertight sealing and high air intake and traction control, where its ability to keep a sure grip on the surface was tested against surfaces ranging from sand to deep mud and snow.

The Gladiator’s wheels feature advanced articulation, ensuring they remain stable on rough terrain even when one wheel is off the ground. It’s Tru-Lock electronically locking differentials that provide added momentum when climbing. Ground clearance of up to 11.1″ is standard or available, depending on your trim, to easily move over difficult surfaces. With all these specialized features, the roughest terrain can be easily conquered by you and your Jeep.

Feel the Breeze

When you want to enjoy the full open-air experience, you need the sun on your face and fresh air blowing through your hair. The Gladiator gives you these feelings, as it can be easily stripped down in minutes. You can remove the top, all four doors, and safely stow them. The top breaks down into sections and fits into its own secure storage bag, while the doors can fit onto a specialized storage cart or be covered by blankets.

The Gladiator also features the segment-exclusive ability to fold down flat across the hood. By simply removing the wiper blades and the side bolts, the windshield folds down onto protective pads and is secured in place.

Cargo and Towing

The Gladiator has a 5-foot-long steel cargo bed with integrated tie-downs and can carry a Best-In-Class payload of 1,725 pounds. In addition, you can add the Cargo Group with Trail Rail System that includes trail rails for easier storage, a lockable rear underseat storage bin for valuables, a 115-volt AC outlet in the bed, and a 400-watt inverter.

Towing ability is either built in or available, depending on the trim you choose. It includes a heavy-duty engine cooling, Heavy-Duty Dana 44 Wide front and rear axles, axle ratio lowered to 4.10 for maximum towing efficiency, and a Class IV receiver hitch that allows you to tow up to 7,700 pounds.
